History
In 1977, Richard McLarney began Valley Green with one pickup truck and a handful of Chelmsford, MA clients. As the business grew, he expanded the firm’s grounds maintenance offerings to include a broad range of landscape services. Word spread about Richard’s knack for cultivating beauty, and he became a regional expert. Over the next ten years, Valley Green evolved into a full-service landscape company serving Boston-area developers, residential communities, and condominium homeowner associations.
Richard’s family-owned company experienced unprecedented growth during the 1990s, and by 1993 Valley Green moved to the Nashoba Farm site in Westford, MA. In 1996, the team relocated once again: this time to Sargents Mill in Westford’s Graniteville Historic District.
Over three decades have passed, but our core values remain the same:
Delivering quality, service and professionalism throughout every project phase, we guarantee a value-added experience and embrace a win-win philosophy where all parties benefit from the relationship.
